Aditi
Aditi supports women of colour in Edinburgh, who have or are experiencing abusive relationships, honour-based violence and other harmful traditional practices.
Aditi is a trauma-informed, wellbeing support service for women of colour in Edinburgh, who have or are experiencing abusive relationships, honour-based violence and other harmful traditional practices.
Aditi is dedicated to the safety and wellbeing of women of colour. Our service is free and confidential.
Aditi supports women to enable positive changes in their lives. Our women-only team is from a variety of cultural and ethnic backgrounds, with extensive experience in providing support and well-being services. We believe women of colour are resilient, resourceful, creative and much more.
We know that women can experience difficult or abusive relationships. There can be pressure and lack of choice which silence women’s voices particularly when it comes to choosing who to marry, how to raise children, how to dress and behave, and pursuing education and work.
Aditi is a trauma-informed service run by Sacro in Edinburgh. We offer a safe space for women to access support, advice and a range of services.
