About Safe Harbour
Safe Harbour is a Gender-based Violence (GBV) Services Hub that offers a safe, inclusive space for people who are, or who have, experienced domestic abuse, honour-based violence or commercial sexual exploitation.
Safe Harbour is a Gender-based Violence (GBV) Services Hub, based in Leith, Edinburgh.
Our dedicated team offers a trauma-informed, inclusive, sociable, respectful and safe space for people who are experiencing, or who have experienced, domestic abuse, honour-based violence or commercial sexual exploitation.
Specialist services are available on-site, as well as direct access to other support. In addition to Sacro’s own GBV services aimed at supporting marginalised, hard to reach people, Safe Harbour will facilitate access to services for addictions, sexual health, mental health and wellbeing, as well as specialist police units.
Safe Harbour offers exclusively women-only access on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays, and an inclusive space for all, on Wednesdays and Thursdays. We offer a drop-in service from 12 noon to 3pm, Monday to Thursday.
The comfort and safety of people attending Safe Harbour is paramount and we will do all we can to make sure you feel welcome, safe and supported.
