Welcome to Safe Harbour
A safe, inclusive and supportive space for marginalised people who have experienced gender-based abuse and exploitation.

If it is important for you not to leave traces that you have been visiting this site, please use a private browsing mode and clear browser history.
Safe Harbour is a Gender-based Violence (GBV) Services Hub that offers a safe, inclusive space for people who are experiencing, or who have experienced, domestic abuse, honour-based violence or commercial sexual exploitation.
Gender-based violence
Gender-based violence refers to harmful acts directed at an individual based on their gender.
It includes physical, sexual, psychological, and economic abuse and disproportionately affects women, girls, transgender people, and gender non-conforming individuals. This violence is rooted in gender inequality, power imbalances, and discriminatory norms.
Safe Harbour offers safety-focused support to individuals impacted by domestic abuse, honour-based violence, and commercial sexual exploitation, with a focus on those marginalised due to race, culture, gender or sexuality.
